Reflections : Northern California

Crescent City, CA view map

This is shot from a tide pool looking toward the Crescent City Light House. This is an example of WHY the TS-E lenses are SOOOO Sweet.....

This is a three image stitch with the 45mm TS/E lens.

THIS IS AN AMAZING LENS!!! If you shoot Canon and landscapes, this and the 90mm MUST be the next two lenses you buy. The whole concept of near infinate DOF is simply liberating

Canon EOS 1D Mark II ,Canon TS-E 45mm f/2.8
This uses tilt and shift to create an 18MP seamless stitch with perfect focus from 2 feet to infinity. Righteous. full exif

Just about every photo you post is a stitch of some kind. What program do you use to execute your stitches, and do you do vertical panos as well as horizontals? I cannot find any stitches whatsoever in any of your shots; very good work.

Thanks. I am a bit bummed that I missed the TS/E focus plane just a bit. About 1/2 degree less tilt would have made this perfect.
