Being along the coast, I was ever cautious about running across some of those sharks people are always talking about. I thought this might be one that had taken to enjoying the California Sun and grass.

The elk in this valley (Fern Canyon) will venture right out to the ocean and it is not uncommon to see several elk in the area.
