A flower very much like this grows where I live very near California's mountain border with Mexico. The flower color I see here is much more like the pale purplish top flower than the deep blue of yoour threesome. Is your deep blue quite close to the field color, or did you modify it?

Beautiful picture of the Desert Blue Bell. A couple of years we had them start popping up in our flower beds. Plants were only two inches high and the flowers about 3/4 inch in diameter lasting about 2 days and then another bloom would appear. Some plants bloomed 11 to 12 times which we thought was amazing. A lovely flower indeed. Joe
