On the last day in Yellowstone (a private tour), we ran across this bald eagle sitting across the river next to the road. I was very happy to see this guy as we were on our way out of the park since light was fading fast. It seamed very unconcerned with our presence allowing me and my guide ample opportunity to get several shots. This shot was with the 400mm f2.8 + 2.0x handheld at ISO 800. I was very happy with the shot as I am not the best at using the 400mm f2.8 lens.
While in the park, I ran into several eagles (including a single Golden) but only go close enough to shoot two well.
