Lightning Strike 2 rejected

Chandler, AZ

On a huge Monsoon at the beginning of July, I went out to try and capture a panoramic image of lightning. These are a few of the rejected frames because of brightness/stoke position/shape and color issues.

Thanks for the kind words. It was almost rejected by me. That image was almost thrown out because of camera shake on the tripod. It was not on solid ground (rocked around on a small rock) and the wind shook the tripod during the exposure causing camera shake to be visible in the foreground. It was one heck of a night, however.

Most of the rejected images are referring to the images that were not allowed (or needed) to go into the pano as it had very specific requirements for brightness and placement of the strikes to allow me to actually do a panoramic stitch of 5 images.

REJECTED BY WHOM? I have seen hundreds and hundreds of lightning photos, and that's one of the best--believe me!

Two 10 second images 20 seconds apart. This was an amazing night of lightning, though.

God, if all that happened at once, I'd have thought it was the end of the world.
Rejected - I think it's brilliant - cheers mate.
