NGC 7000 - North American Nebula
Anza
NGC 7000 the North American Nebula. A modified Digital Rebel was used to capture this image using an Orion 80mmED telescope with an 0.7x reducer and IDAS LPS filter, focused with a STI Stileto focuser. The scope was mounted on a Losmandy G-11 and guided using a Borg 77mm achromat with a Meade LPI and Guidedog software. The image is composed of 26 frames of 6 minute ISO400 exposures. The raw files were processed in Imageplus V2.75 Beta 2 with Daylight white balance, with ampglow and high pixel darks, adaptive dark subtracted with bias frames. The aligned images were stacked using Sigma clipped average, color balance adjusted then digital development followed by curves adjustment, and Richardson-Lucy resoration. The file was brought in to Photoshop for resizing for web and text addition. This is full frame no cropping.
