We joined the Owen Sound Field Naturalists on a walkabout on our property. Dave Fidler led the group and pointed out the vireos to us.

The following day we went back to the area where we heard the vireos and for a brief period watched them build their nest.

There are a series of photos, until we saw them feeding their chicks. The last photo was taken on June 19th.
We returned towards the end of July and there was no activity in the area.

The nest withstood the elements for 2 years after it was built.

Since then we have heard them every spring in the woods to the west of the house.
