Becky & Elaine crossed the border and visited Canada for the first time in their lives. Their visit lasted 10 days. The first half was spent at Dagobah, while the last half was spent in Burlington at Lea's. These are photos taken at Dagobah.
An afternoon exploring the meadows.
Becky has a friend "Mr Nibbles"
10 shots later and Mr Nibbles is still stuffing his mouth.
Elaine cannot get over Mr Nibble's appetite (it is said that a Chipmunk can store enough food to fill a one car garage)
Elaine & Becky woke up very early and did some birding from the porch
Looking for the Piping Plovers - the first day we could not find them.
Becky & Lea looking out at lake Huron (Sauble Beach). It was a very windy day!
Elaine was surprised to see all this water.
Common Yellowthroat at Issac Lake. As we drove by he posed. (Thanks Lea for taking this for me)
Issac Lake - not a lot happening, but we did get some butterfly photos.
Waiting to go back to see the Plovers - Mr Nibble begs Becky to stay behind
The Piping Plovers have 3 juvies that are being watched 24/7 by volunteers.
Becky & Elaine pose under the Texas birdhouse and feeder .... we think of them everytime we walk into the house :-)
