FALL FOLIAGE IN MONOCHROME

Just a little experiment to see if the splendor of the fall season can be conveyed in black and white.
The answer is that I think it can, but this photo is NOT a shining example of it

I agree, it isn't particularly fall-y, BUT, it is a tremendous image in its own right. The contrast is remarkably dramatic and, as always, your impeccable composition makes it so well balanced it is impossible not to stare at longingly.
