I attended a native american "powwow" yesterday
So many interesting people.
Watching this young man throughout the day I noticed that he almost always looked distant and sad.
It gave me the sense that he might just be counting the days until he turns 18
Excellent title! He looks like he would rather be doing anything else, but was guilt-tripped into this pow-wow appearance. The native american community in general look forward to these events, where they make money from sales of garments, jewelry, food, etc., and carry-on tradition.
Awww...he does look Sad but what an Excellent Shot! Amazing Contrast! V0TED~*

As you may have noticed, I attended my first Native American event a few weeks ago and had a great time. But when I see a picture like this it makes me see the difference between an ok shot (mine) and a work of art (you). This is...any superlative would be too trite. And oh yes, I can't wait until I am ready for black and white now. This is such a good application of that media.
