BIKER CHICK

Today was an amazingly photogenic day here in NY.
The light was spectacular and I was like a kid in a candy store finding so
many subjects calling out to be shot when I walked in the woods
this afternoon. But then on my way home I spotted this woman sitting
on the bench looking at the bike in front of her. It took a couple of minutes for me to park
my car. By the time I did this man had joined her on the bench.
I can't decide whether I like this shot as much with the man in it or whether the
only real shot would have been with the woman alone. I seek opinions on this
from anyone who would like to proffer one.

As for the nature photos, It was hard for me to decide what to post as my pad.
I chose the one below because the light was just so amazing.

As always, thanks for stopping by.

This is great - the juxtaposition of these people is fabulous!

Maybe the guy is trying to convince the lady to join him for a bike ride :^)

Well, first of all, it's just one hell of a good photograph. And I like both of them in the shot. What I'd really like to know, though, is what the guy in the little window above them is up to? Looks very nefarious to me. : )

They're both great shots. I like imagining the two on the bench to be a biker couple, taking a break from a long cross-country ride, ditching the RV stereotype and taking to the open road on a much cooler set of wheels.

I don't know Liza. Its a good image... and I think I would prefer the woman alone. So why don't you clone him out? ;-)

Kinda like to imagine a December-May romance and they're about to zoom off to a romantic interlude. (Forgive me, watching American President and I adore Michael Douglas)

Oh how cool, he took his mom for a ride :)
Looks great with both in the shot!

Biker Chick is nice! Good interpretation!

I like the biker dude and chick . . even if they AREN'T the ones who ride it. It probably would have been cooler without the guy, but even with him . . it's sort of the ATYPICAL biker set and THAT makes the picture =]

I like it with both of them, at first glance it makes it seem as if they are a couple and the bike belongs to them. Great shot!

It's a good photo with both - the implication, of course, that it belongs to them - but I must admit it would have been brilliant with just the old lady! Oh well, some photgraphic opportunities are fleeting, and I am sure we pass dozens everyday unaware. In any event, good catch!

I tried to picture it without him, even covered him with my fingers, but I think it is special the way it is....meant to be.
