AH NATURE

I don't really have anything more to say about this one.
Maybe if you choose to comment you could offer suggestions for the
narrative caption?

One thing I will say is that I can't believe we finally are
seeing noise free ISO 400. Life is good.

Canon EOS 20D
1/125s f/9.0 at 122.0mm iso400 full exif

That's beautiful. Tons of detail, beautiful color balance. Unfortunately, I decided to wait another 18 months for the next-gen 30D or whatever they'll call it. Gotta skip a generation, I guess.

Gentle Breeze,,, that was the first thing that came to my mind. This camera is doing well for you. I see you are having lots of fun with it. I can take a lesson or two from you with this cam. Well done

Ohhhhh really nice!

No words needed. I have never seen anything this clear, or from this perspective. The seeds still folded inside are amazing. Pushed the vote button.

Excellent detail.

Gorgeous! The clarity is amazing!

Wow, the clarity on this is exceptional. The sense I get when looking at this photo is that the seed has just been released from it's pod at this very instant. There is a sense of implied motion here. My caption might have been "milkweed ejaculation." ;)

Lovely, delicate detail!
Larry Ahern28-Oct-2004 01:30
Absolutely terrific!!
Carmen28-Oct-2004 01:28
My first reaction was, "Nice!" and when I opened up the picture it changed to "REAL nice!" I love this; looks like the seed isn't quite ready to leave the nest yet. It's beautiful in its delicacy, and the symmetry of the neatly folded seeds/parachutes within the pod is cool.
