Yesterday I had the good fortune of photographing the Rock n Ride classic rock concert at White River Amphitheater in Auburn, WA. The acts included The Marshall Tucker Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Spike and the Impalers (a local Seattle band comprised of members of Paul Roger's touring band and fronted by Seattle radio station KZOK's Spike O'Niel), Starship - Staring Mickey Thomas, and Foghat. It was a long day, especially with the record heat in many areas. But it was a great day of music, and photography. And the concert was the the final event of a weekend full of activities to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital. All told $750,000.00 was raised. This a shot of Marshall Tucker.
