When I look back over my 46+ years of life I can easily remember several key moments... First kiss, first love, high school graduation, completing Navy bootcamp, and receiving my commission...
But today I celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of life's greatest events. Today my oldest child, my daughter, Meagan turns 25. What a day that was 25 years ago, an amazing experience to hold, for the first time, your first child. Lots of emotions.
This photo is one of my all time favorite photos, taken on our first family visit to Bainbridge Island while I was still stationed in San Diego. It was taken with my first "real" camera, a Pentax K1000 that I bought in the ship's store of the USS KINKAID. I was shooting Kodachrome that day, and I've just always like this image of Meagan and her younger sister, Sara.
