The Royal Palace

Rabat, Morocco

The Royal Palace is located right in the heart of Rabat.
The Royal Palace, which was built in 1864, is surrounded by a wall with three access gates. Neither old nor very big, the palace still provides a fine illustration of Islamic architecture. The King's personal mosque stands directly across from the Royal Palace.
