I travelled to Loch Awe on the strength of the next days forecast, which was for crisp, calm and clear weather at dawn.
When I arrived the afternoon before it was very overcast, wet and misty...... still plenty of scope for atmosphere! When I shot this image of Kilchurn Castle I was thinking conversion to black and white, but I like the sombre colour and mood of this long exposure.
