Situated at the head of a small fjord on Streymoy Island, in the northern tip of the Faroe Isles
this is a fabulous place! The trails of pure white sand and black lava sand are mixed by
the incoming tide and by the stream entering from the left. The back drop of the stacks of Risin
and Kellinigin just off the 500m high cliffs of Eioiskollur complete the picture.
