03_April_2011 Island Tree

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe

The wind was fair blowing across Rannoch Moor, making Loch Nah Achlaise take on the appearance of a river. I decided to use a long exposure to smooth out the water surface and give a feel for the conditions. Quite a different scene from the last time I was here (below).

The lines in the loch give it a dynamic feel ... great dappled light and love the snow on the mountains!

Great picture Stewart. Glad you had some blue skies. Brilliant use of a long exposure. Very well framed.

Stewert this is superb, better than our visit in November. Did you get it on film as well? VV
