15_Aug_09 Findlater Castle

Moray

3 miles along the the coastal path, to the east of Cullen
lies Findlater Castle, occupying a rocky outcrop jutting
out into the Moray Firth. After a tricky descent to the beach
the ruins look very imposing from below, even though only the bottom storeys still remain.

What a great photo. Alien landscape feel to it.

My, that's an impressive photo, Stewart! The contrast between the inky-black sky and the lights and whites of the rocks and stonework is just superb! Full of fantastic detail and clarity...Rob's got it spot on - 'bite' is exactly the right word! Cracking stuff!! V++
