The finish line for day six of the ride, in the small community of Rainbow. Tent City was located just off one of the holes of Tokatee golf course, long one of the nicer public courses in the state.
It's become custom on Cycle Oregon that as each rider crosses the day's finish line, s/he is given a small carton of chocolate milk, which supposedly replaces lost electrolytes and refuels the body better than most sports drinks. This day, instead of a carton, the chocolate milk was served to us in a plastic beer cup. I hadn't known Widmer makes a chocolate beer!
