Cycle Oregon is fully supported, with vehicles hauling rider gear between each overnight stop. The one caveat is that each rider is allowed only one bag, into which is packed tent, sleeping bag & pad, cycling clothes, camp clothes, and whatever else is thought to be essential. This was the largest water-resistant bag I could find, but it proved early on in the ride to be too small.
