Residents and guests of the Mauna Lani Resort property are granted access to the parking lot, and use of Beach Club facilities. The general public can access this beach too, but only via a 15 minute walk, a long trek if one's hauling beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. This beach was our "home beach" while on Hawai'i, and we didn't spend much time at any others. The snorkeling here is better than any I've experienced on either Maui or Kaua'i.
