The guy I work with is a member at this exclusive golf club, mauka from Hualalai Resort. He hosted us for lunch one of the days we were on the island. The back tee on the 9th hole, where this shot was taken, is at the top of a cinder cone. I played the hole from this tee a few years ago. Can't remember what the carry is to the fairway, or if I even made it. But if I did, it was just barely.

And by the way, we were one of only two tables being served lunch that day. Still, it was easily the best prepared meal I had in our 10 days in the islands.
