One can't help but notice this beach when driving by if for no other reason than it seems to always be deserted. But on closer inspection you'll see that there's a well kept shelter in the trees behind the beach, with paths in the sand that appear to have been raked leading away from it, one of which ends at this make-shift hammock. Hard to imagine a better place for an afternoon nap. And seeing it almost forces one to evaluate priorities and value systems in their own life. After which you cross the road behind the beach to the "Last Chance" General Store and Red Hot Mama's to order a burrito. They're not really all that great, but much easier than counting on catching a fish and then having to cook it over an open fire. ;-)
