It's a bit of a hike down a steep hill to get to "Secret Beach" but well worth the effort. And even though it's not much of a secret any more, the long, wide stretch of sand provides plenty of room if you're looking for privacy.

For those in the know, yes I did Photoshop out the Kilauea Lighthouse. It was being restored and was draped in an ugly grayish canvas, and I liked the photo better without it. Otherwise, this and the other photos in this gallery are pretty much as they came out of the camera.
