Hand-held shots from within the caves at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico. Some truly huge formations, vast spaces, and rather bizarre discontinuous lighting at levels that are usually too low for the colors to be perceived by the unaided eye, combine to make this a challenging cave system to photograph. Some specialized equipment would be required to do it any kind of justice.
