Wind River Range Backpacking Sept 2011

Pictures from our 7 day hike through the Wind Rivers. We started at Elkhart Park and our planned itinerary had us stopping for the night at Little Seneca, but we ended up pushing on to Island Lake. Day 2 was much shorter, stopping at Upper Titcomb basin. Day 3 was a tough slog up over Knapsack Col and down to Peak Lake. Day 4 we camped below Fremont Crossing, and Day 5 was a beautiful spot near the Cook Lk trail junction. Day 6 we camped by Mary's Lake and Day 7 was an easy hike back out to the trailhead. We were enjoying burgers at the Sugar Shack in Pinedale for lunch!
