Yo. If you or anyone is interested, we're throwing an event in Maryland, a bboy and dance competition, but are looking to have artists do pieces for an urban art gallery. People attending the event will vote on their favorites and winner gets a cash prize. If you or anyone is interested, have them email us at info@roguesquirrel.com.

dj trace stubs speaking-aka(LOGAN FALLER)>i agree with the other logan, because there are articals about graffiti that are negative and are all about graffiti being a gang thing or a territory thing. I feel that the art of graffiti is unique enough that it can also be a positive thing. I really dont have a i name for myself (no affence) but i think most real graffiti artist write man things like for instance i have made about 30 to 40 pieces this year and all of them are different words and syles. Im 16 and i've been writing for about 3 years and i still dont have a name or a tag that i rep. so maybe its not a bad thing to write enything. I really enjoy it and thats really all that matters, so for people out there who wanna dog me and the art of m culture they can just fuck off because weather its a marker, paint, or pencil i dont give a shit ill write and do pieces 4 life. P.S. graffiti isnt all about vandelizm, theres alittle more to it than that. HIP HOP 4 life *PEACE*

you know i dont know why cops and parts of the usa really hate the art that these artist make i mean my role model is expert aka (Steven Johnson) and mark ecko.I myself has met art legends like seen,cope2,t-kid,and even the wheat paste legend obey (shepard Fairey) they are all right in my black book,so dont tell me i dont know graffiti.

i love graffiti. it IS an art. the outward expression of personality is great, especially as it goes against "norms" and "rules".

No talent in America huh? You know graffiti art is the most original thing to come out of america. To say get a real job is very ignorant, many of the graffiti artists have jobs, I dont know how often you pass by the paint aisle in wal mart where ever you live but krylon and rustoleum are just under 5 dollars a can. And montana paint which is very commonly used today by graffiti artists is about 6 dollars a can, most of the graffiti artists dedicate there lives to this it takes years to develop styles, its is unfair for you to make a judgement when you have no knowledge about who these people are and why they do what they do. what is so wrong about using public space to express individualism? would you rather public space be pastered with microsoft adds? In kansas city and in almost every major US city, landlords pay graffiti artists to paint there walls. And dont see how you could hate something as beautiful as graffiti. Maybe you feel threatened because graffiti artists work together to acheive a goal the is against our systems rules, or maybe your just close minded. Just open your eyes.

that garfiti is really cool, i've taken pics of the grafiti where i live(halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) but its not as good as the stuff on here.
