Mouse's Tank

Valley of Fire, NV

Named for a renegade who used the area as a hideout in the 1890's. It is a natural basin in the rock that collects water after rainfalls, sometimes remaining for several months. I know it is hard to see in this image but those are bees floating around in this fouled water.
