The word you're looking for is "bokeh" which refers to the quality of the out of focus area. What makes it look a little strange here are heat waves and the resulting distortion.

Its looks that you need to buy her rear-view mirrors. What happend to the background ? The bouguet or whatever its called, looks funcky.

I tried one with a 2x extender on my 400mm lens today http://www.pbase.com/ed154/400mm_lens Very difficult when one doesn't have the use of autofocus I wanted to try one after viewing your shots

Well Bill, I turned 48 today and I am sure that Wanda keeps you feeling as young as my wife makes me feel. Part of that youthful exhuberance comes from seeing that men are still chasing our wives! Of course you had the good investigative sense to capture the act as evidence.....~wink~. Great work as always. Both of you are an inspiration and enjoyment to all of us!
