Wanda 06_10_06.jpg

Wanda after the 60 mile Tour de Cure ride. She had a great time and is ready to do it again. For sure we would both like to thank all the great people that view our gallery for all their donations to the American Diabetes Association. As of posting time the donations amount to $9,515.00
You can donate for another two weeks if any would like to contribute http://tour.diabetes.org/site/TR?pg=personal&fr_id=3310&px=2819862

Here are a few pics from the ride.

Most of the team ... never could get all these people together at one time.

Awwwww, Jim.
You say the sweetest things . . . .thank you. I thought I looked rather run through the ringer and was cringing every time a camera was pointed My direction. . . but I guess it's ok to look hot and sweaty and have all the curl fallen from your hair after you have just peddled 60 miles. I couldn't help but smile all day long, I had such a great time! While I am proud of My fundraising, I can't take all the credit. Everyone who donated is a part of My "team" and I am truly grateful for their support. (warm smile)

Wanda Congratulations on a job well done. On yesterdays photo when I said you were amazing, I wasn't just referring to your looks, raising this much money for ADA is really quite an accomplishment, you should be very proud. How is it that you can look so darn good after the ride and the men look like they're about to die?

Congradulations, we all knew you could do it. The first photo I saw that Bill posted was of the flat tire and I thought, "oh no" Wanda broke down!!! So glad to see you finished without problems. Also it took years off, you look so young in this Photo.
Not that you ever looked that old.

I survived!!! Thanks so much to all the pbase viewers who so generously gave to the ADA. With your help I came closer to My goal than I ever thought possible! And as promised, I completed the 60 miles I committed Myself to and I had a wonderful time! What a fantastic event! I encourage all of you to think about next years "tour de cure" and entertain the possibility of being a rider yourself! And if you are not willing to ride, then just be willing to get out your wallets again! (cute lil grin)

Being able to complete the 60 mile course reminded Me how truly grateful I am to be healthy enough to do so. I wish good health to all!
