Wanda Getting Ready for the Tour de Cure

Wanda has signed up for the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure. She has about 8 weeks to get in condition for the ride.

Wanda has set herself a pretty hefty goal for sponsorship. We haven't ever asked our viewers for a penny for ourselves but we sure would appreciate any help getting Wanda to her goal.

If you would like to sponsor Wanda and donate (any little bit will help) to the American Diabetes Association click on her Tour de Cure personal web-page link http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR?pg=personal&fr_id=4400&px=2819862

OK...glasses..shirt..AND bike...color coordinated. *grin* They ought to give you mileage credit just for that (laffin - sorry, had to do that).

Steve,

I have signed up for the 25 mile course, although Me and My teammates are being pressured to go for the 60 mile course. I'll decide on what course to ride when it's closer to ride time. I'll have to see how good of shape I am in by then! The ride takes place in Brigham City Utah. That's up north. I'll have to drag My butt out of bed EARLY in the morning to be there on time for when the ride starts. I think I might just spend the night in hotel up there the night before the ride.

I haven't been on a bike in years! So this is going to be an interesting experience. Thanks to you and everyone else who have already donated to the cause. I appreciate your support more than you know. I promise not to disappoint . .. I'll do My best to push for every mile I can get in. I look forward to falling down, completely exhausted by the end of the ride. (determined smile on My face)

Great action capture. Lighting good too with just enough highlights to add a three dimensional touch.

Wanda seems to have more energy than this guy!
I saw him slogging up the hill earlier today.

Excercise! That's how she stays so beautiful!
I'd hoped it was something easier..... :-)
