With this image, I think Bill was just having fun creating the background from the same flower that we used as a prop in the picture. If you are looking for symbolism is this image, I suggest you remember just exactly what part of a plant the flower is. (grinning)

Darrell...no doubt she has thought of me as an idiot more than once...it comes with almost 25 years of married life.

With all due respect Bill, perhaps she is saying your a blooming idiot!

Listening to an oldies station this morning and one of the songs popped into my head as soon as I saw the image .. and then seeing Niall's comment about it looking psychedelic added to the imagery of psychedlic pop music ..
Flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere.

I love the flower girl, oh, I don't know just why.
She simply caught my eye.
I love the flower girl, she seemed so sweet and kind.
She crept into my mind.

Could be Wanda saying to Bill, "hurry up with this photo and kiss me quick!"

I hate symbolism. Nevertheless, based on the “theme” of this week of a woman’s power and control over men, this image could depict that a woman’s words are flowery, … the petals around her head could mean that though beautiful now, all women will wilt and fade away, … or it could just be a satire of Jude’s work. See why I hate symbolism?

This is a very arresting image, because of the symbolism certainly but it's Wanda's piercing blue eyes and the almost willfully hypnotic intensity of the gaze here that stop me dead in my tracks. jude mc has a similar one with a flower in her mouth but hers is more dreamy whereas there is something almost psychedelic about this one.

Uh... "I've been talking to Daisy and the words are still on my lips."?

I've got a bloomin' flower up my nose? or OK, Jude, off with the shirt.
