Wanda03_22_05a.jpg

In keeping with yesterday's theme; we thought a "Pandora's Box" photo might be fun. OK...I'm sorry, I don't believe that women are responsible for bringing evil into the world. It seems like a male dominance driven way of thinking. Most of the evil I see in the world comes from men all on their own. So why do we blame women so much in myth for bringing evil into the world?

Interesting question posed about why women are blamed...if you really go back and read, you'll find that the woman was deceived....the man, after failing in his assignment to protect the woman and guard the Eden from intruders, and after hearing what happened, made an informed choice to do wrong....so who truly opened the box? And more importantly, did they look as precious as Wanda when they did it??

This was Bill's concept. The only thing I really remember about this shoot was that by the time Bill got the image he wanted, I was damned near blind! That flash going of in My eyes was a bit much after the first time or two!

To light the inside of the box I just put one of the 550EX flashes in the box.

Nice shot, how did you light the inside of the box?

At first, it reminded me of the briefcase scene fom Pulp Fiction.

The thought of an evil woman can be summed up in this phrase...
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"

Now, that being said, it's usually the man that creates that situation... =)

Cool shot.

What kind of light is in the box? It looks very white.

Very cool idea. I can't answer your question right now. My girlfriend is looking over my shoulder. Even though now I will have to explain, to her, what I would have said and I will be in trouble anyway. HEHE.
