Wanda03_13_05.jpg

Guess who is moving behind the camera? Wanda has been wanting to learn to take pictures...mostly of her cats. I think she will take over the 10D until she outgrows it. I snapped this as she took some photos of a couple of dogs that were hanging around.

I needed a photo of myself for another project. Normally I would have had Wes take the photo; but, he had gone back down to Calf Creek today.

Well I drafted Wanda to take my picture. Here is her photo I think she did a great job.

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
1/800s f/3.2 at 135.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Hello William! its more of an exceptions rather than the rule for a great photographer like you.
To publish the type of equipment and settings that you use, others once they get established or get high positive comments suddenly the settings or exif details of photos are gone.
If there one thing I would describe photographer like you "UNSELFISH"!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit it was kind of fun to get behind the camera this day. Bill had one in his hand and I had one in Mine and we looked like a couple of kids in some sort of duel! (laffin) When Bill snapped this shot I really was trying to hurry and snap a picture of these cute dogs that came bounding along. But I missed the shot. (sigh)

I am happy My nail polish wasn't all chipped and ugly! I always hated it when My fingers would show and My nails had chipped polish. Back in My youth when I went to "charm school" that was one of the things the instructor drilled into our heads. . . "NEVER go out with chipped nails". I guess her lesson sunk in because I have always been embarassed by chipped polish ever since then. Pretty silly eh?

She did well, she should get a PBase account and start posting.
How about "Photo-A-Day of Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What a great photo... Wanda's got that phorographers look of concentration there too!! What's more it worked, the pic of Bill is great too!

I guess i need to put a nasty rumor to rest....No picture a day of Me is in the future. After looking at Wanda who would want to look at 365 pictures of my sorry ass. Not to mention, I don't think I'm likely to be Wanda's favorite subject.

I have been one of the many followers of your PaD gallery this past year. I have enjoyed your work, and it is work. You’ve done well on the creativity as well as the technical aspects of photography. But, I like what I see in the relationship between the two of you through the images. Yes you are a husband and wife but it seems to go beyond that. This thing called love, along with commitment, looks to be alive and well. This image with Wanda behind the camera brought a smile to my face. Go for it, girl and don’t just settle for using the 10D! Hope you have many more loving years together.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you guys can come up with for the Wild Wacky William Thursdays.

A picture a day of Bill would be good as long he doesn't wear the same outfits Wanda did.
Donna Lear14-Mar-2005 05:51
Are you going to be moving from a picture a day OF Wanda to a picture a day BY Wanda? Maybe a picture a day of Bill! :)
