Wanda02_27_05.jpg

It is the beginnings of Spring. The days are nice when the sun shines and today it was shining brightly. The crocus have poked their heads up and are blooming. It is time to start yard work. For Wanda at this time of year that means trimming her roses and that is how she spent her afternoon. Of course, the wise man that I am, I sat back and played photographer snapping her picture from afar with my wildlife lens.

I remember this day! It was another sunny day and actually felt a bit warm! I thought I would take advantage of the opportunity to trim the rose hedge while I had the chance. It's a good thing I did too, because our early spring got foiled by Mother Nature when she decided winter needed to return!

The thing about this shoot was that Bill had to take a whole bunch of pictures in hopes of getting one where I didn't have a completely goofy look on My face. Often times My tongue was sticking out as I concentrated on the job at hand. I think this one turned out good enough. (s)

I would have to agree with Todd! There have been some wonderfully wild photos on this gallery! You are both incredibly creative! Always enjoy visiting your Pad :-)

A la contraire, I'll bet Wanda is the prettiest "bird" in the garden.

Keep shooting that wildlife, Bill. ;)

Oh I dunno...judging from the pictures she lets Bill post here, I'd say she's pretty darn wild ;-)

Beautiful shot -- but I'd hardly call Wanda wildlife. :)
