Wanda10_21_04.jpg

It is that time of year. Finding just the perfect pumpkin to carve for Halloween is very important. Today Wanda saw the one she wanted.

The light was pretty drab. We had a dark overcast sky and it was raining just a little bit. Overall, I do think it worked out well.

If you haven't checked Wanda's calendar take a look at http://www.cafepress.com/slowpokebill.9087605

Even though this picture was shot while I was in a public setting, I had a great time picking out My pumpkin! I wasn't nearly as nervous about this shot because I was *doing* something other than just standing there smiling. In fact, as I recall, not a single person even stopped to watch or take notice of this shoot, probably because Bill was standing in between some parked cars and didn't use his tripod. Therefore he wasn't as noticeable and so of course that made it easier for Me.

Bill, you can take the most down to earth chore and make it interesting and deep--great portrait! And Wanda, Bill is completely wrong! While your lingerie pictures are lovely, you are a stunning model in any setting!

Hi Wanda....Can I see it after you carve it up? That is one mega-pumpkin to work on. You should be able to make a great face with it.

Thank you for noticing Gary, My trips to the gym have paid off, I can actually carry a heavy pumpkin! It only weighed 28 pounds. So you see Angela, not to worry, I didn't need Bill's help on this chore. I had a great time sorting through all the pumpkins, and of course, the one I wanted was on the bottom of the pile toward the back, so I had to climb in there and do a bit of rearranging to get it! I felt so triumphant when I succeeded without falling on My caboose! I sure hope the store manager didn't mind that I was tiptoeing through all their pumpkins and messing up their display!

Dang girl! You got some strength in them arms to be carrying that big thing around...

Yeh, I have to agree with Angela and Josh, the lighting is nice and soft but lifted by the brightness of the pumpkins but what really shines out is Wanda’s obvious enjoyment. Nice one for the happy family album.

That is quite a pile of very large pumkins...And Wanda does seem to have picked one of the nicer ones...

Nice shot William...

What an exciting day she had. Big big pumpkin, big smile on her face, inside a big pretty picture. Who could ask for more!
Boo!

A lovely portrait! When it's gray like that, it's like shooting with a HUGE softbox! I love that light.

Oh and Bill... you're letting HER carry that? ;)
