Scofield, Uath

This is a grave marker of one of over 100 coal miners that died in the Scofield Mine Disaster 1st May, 1900. This picture was taken in central Utah and was one of the very first photos taken with my Minolta D7.

Very impressing photo. The cross and the light comming behind the coulds makes a good compositions. Just a perfect way to describe the loss of human souls. I like it!

Very good picture,How do you like the minolta,I have a 10d and a s50 powershot but would like to purchase the Minolta also for my wife.My son uses the s50.
