Today we hiked to the top of P Mountain. We saw a few deer along the way.

I don't need to hike up a mountain to find deer. I live on a wooded lot that abuts an environmental area and there are too darned many of them here. Since our dog passed away 13 years ago, they come up on my front porch to eat our potted flowers and look in our family room sliding glass door in the back. I can't keep them from eating almost anything we try to grow. Last year after nearly 60 inches of snow in one week, they were even nibbling at my deer resistant plantings.
