Wanda 10_29_09.jpg

It has been a bit too long since I have snapped a photo of my favorite subject. Here is Wanda in front of a painting we just put up in our home.

Here is an outtake straight out of the camera before we had the light how I wanted it...it shows the whole painting.

Happy Birthday on Thanksgiving, Wanda

If you're not going to post a picture for a few weeks, at least the last one you posted was a great one. Brandy's cogent comment notwithstanding, I'm still trying to find my way out of the deep blue of Wanda's eyes :-)

There's a painting in the picture?? Gee Brandy, thanks for pointing out that your mom's boobs look big. I never would have noticed them otherwise :-)

Thanks for telling us the set-up, your work always impresses me! BTW Wanda impresses me too with every image you shoot of her.

Beautiful !

This was all done with available light. The main light is sunlight coming through the three windows behind me. The light on Wanda's hair is bright sunlight reflecting off the tile floor and a wall to her right. The light on the painting is a ceiling can light. I didn't want to overpower the light on the painting so we just used the wood blinds on the wall of windows behind where I was standing to control the amount of light.

Oh, and yes Brandy you did a fantastic job picking out and helping us hang the painting. It is perfect!

Awesome as always Bill. It makes me wonder how this was lit, I love the lighting on her hair on the right side and wonder where it came from.
