Bite Day two 08_06_08.jpg

So does this count as "pain and suffering"? Can you believe the amount of bruising? That bite went all the way to the bone in the front along her shin. OUCH!

I hope the dog that did this is no longer with the living!!! :O)

-V-

it will never be "all gone". . . It's mostly healed no. Just one small spot that still sloughs off scabs, but the scars are nice, thick, ugly purple mars on My skin. It will take years to fade and might need scar revision surgery to make it look better. Only time will tell.

thanks for asking,

wanda

Hey Wanda...it just occurred to me that this bite is prolly all healed up by now, but, I gotta ask; Is it all gone by now?
WOW - I can't even imagine being bit by a stray dog! I hope all is well.

Wanda,

There's a lot of us "ol dogs" out here that thought those legs
looked really good too, of course in a much different way !?
kiddin aside- I'm very sorry for you, I hope you all healed up soon!

G.M.

It wasn't a puppy, it was an adult dog around 50 pounds. Looked like some kind of a collie-black Lab Mix. Who knows? Just some angry mutt! When I took up cycling, part of My reason was because I wanted "cyclists legs", but this isn't quite what I had in mind.

OUCH, heal fast Wanda!!!

What kind of puppy was it Wanda?

Bill, surely you have a small fire arm Wanda could tuck into the back pockets of her jersey?

That looks painful. Hope your recovery goes quickly.

At least the swelling has gone down but, oh, the bruising. Isn't it amazing the damage that dogs can inflict with what appears to be just a little bite?
BTW, I just love the two-tone suntan - if you want to make your fortune, Wanda, design some shoes that let the UVs through - then you won't end up with lily-white feet, and lovely tanned legs?
Hope the healing continues well for you. It looks like there will be minimal scarring? LOL.

That is one nasty bite - hope you don't end up with scars!!

Ewwwwwwwww! and look how weird My skin looks from the bandage I have to wear wrapped around this mess! It sure leaves funky looking impressions. (frown)
