Wanda spent her morning racing in the Utah State Championship Chalk Creek Road Race. The course was 30 miles of hills in Chalk Creek Canyon. The temperature on the course was around 100 degrees Fahrenheit and there was a constant headwind on the last half. She placed 10th in a pretty strong field of riders.
Now she needs to rest up this week for next week’s Park City Super Century. It is a little over 170 mile race with almost 10,000 feet elevation gain. There is one long mountain climb over 10,715 ft. Bald Mountain Pass.
