From late April to early September on Tuesday evenings from 6PM 'til sunset, the Dangerfield Island Sailing Club (DISC), joined by the Sailing Club of Washington (SCOW), holds informal sailboat races along the Alexandria, Virginia stretch of the Potomac River, between Reagan National Airport and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
