These images are from the 34th annual Maryland Governor's Cup Yacht Race, an overnight sailing race covering a 70-mile course from Annapolis, the modern capital of Maryland, to St. Mary's City, that state's colonial capital. It began in at dusk on Friday August 3 and ended the next day around 3:3o in the afternoon. Racing photos were taken from aboard Moe Gigeure's 36-foot sloop CRISHELLE.
