Faeries In Berkeley Springs, West Virginia

In recent years, the little town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia has attracted the attention of folks captivated by fairy (or "faerie") folk lore and legends.

In fact, this became such a phenomenon that the arts community of the town -heretofore best known for its mineral water springs (first discovered by George Washington) and accompanying health spa- decided to hold an annual Faerie Festival in its historic Old Town section, also the location of the legendary springs.

These photos were taken on the second day of that festival.
