This is a 30 minute exposure with the 18-200mmVR lens attached and the lens cap on.

The VR was disabled. Notice there is no pure red light polution in the frame.

The camera was placed in the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to this thirty minute exposure. There's much less thermal noise exhibited by the sensor.
