Australia Day 2008 saw us having the day off, so Geoff and I went to Plovdiv for lunch and a walk around the Old part of the city. Later that day the Australia Day party was held at The Residencia with about 40 Expats and their families in tow and the Bulgarian members of the Mine management team, Helenia made 60 meat pies and pasties which was a great hit with the expats, sausage rolls were also in abundance as well.
