Porkys

This "iconic drive in" the last of 6 in Minneapolis and St. Paul was located on University Avenue in St. Paul.
First opened in 1953 and closed in 2011. I photographed this using my Fujifilm GW670 and Ilford 400 Delta Pro film.
This is from a scan of the 6 x 7 cm. negative.

This definitely has a vintage feel to it, which is immensely appealing. Great shot, and good work scanning an old negative. VV

an eye-catcher, and a roadside classic...already people were urged to eat in their cars, a sea change of note...a cool capture...V

What a great shot of this old-time drive-in. Looks like it was taken in the 1950s!

Very cool, Dennis, and an excellent photo as well. Wouldn't you love to have a time machine and pop back to around 1959 or so to photograph it with the right era of cars around it. ~BV~

Nice shot of this old landmark. Like the look with the film.
