Stars of Magic 2013

This gallery is of photos I took at the dress rehearsal at the Tucson Chapter of the Society of American Magician's 26th Annual "Stars of Magic" show on August 24th, 2013. We had it at a really nice venue, The Temple of Music and Art. These were all taken with my Canon 6D on a tripod and no flash,and my 24-105 f/4 lens, just trying to see what results I could get. Many were not too great, but some turned out ok- at least it gave me a starting point to learn about shooting in such an environment. Having a 70-200 f/2.8 lens would be nice ! Are my eyes deceiving me? Im viewing shots taken at 12800 ISO with very little noise. With cropped sensor camera I would need to set somewhere between 1600-3200 ISO to achieve the same results. Please let me know your thoughts? Are my obervations correct (assuming you have experience with cropped sensor/APS-c. I use the canon 50d
