Last Photo of Mom with "kids"

Phoenix,AZ

My mom (center) passed away last night. We think she slipped and hit her head against something. She was 75. One of my nieces actually took this with my camera this past Thanksgiving, and I processed it today as a method to cope with my grief- I going to put together a dvd of family pictures and videos for her memorial, and there was not much for me to do in Phoenix that two of my brothers and sister weren't doing already. I'd felt a bit guilty not working on many of my Thanksgiving pictures. I'm the eldest of her five kids.

Scott, I am so sorry to hear this and the fact that it was unexpected must make it even more of a shock. Don't feel guilty about the pictures. They will mean even more to you and your sister and brothers and all your and their kids now. It is fortunate that you were all together for Thanksgiving.
